摘要
Polymeric chelates between polyquinoxaline prepolymers and copper, nickel, and cadmium acetates have been synthesized. The copper chelate showed better high-temperature stability than the high molecular weight polytetraazaanthracene. The ac and dc conductivities of the chelates increased with the increasingly covalent nature of the organic ligand-metal bond. Esr studies on the monomers and prepolymers showed the presence of free radicals and from their fine structure spectra an assignment to the appropriate anion radicals was made. © 1969, American Chemical Society.
