POLARIZATION FROM SCATTERING POLARIZED SPIN-1-2 ON UNPOLARIZED SPIN-1 PARTICLES

摘要
The most general parity and time reversal invariant form for the spin- 1 2-spin-1 scattering amplitude matrix is obtained. The polarization observables (cross section, spin- 1 2 polarization, spin-1 polarization, and spin correlation) which arise upon scattering polarized spin- 1 2 by unpolarized spin-1 particles are expressed in terms of the coefficients of this general form. A phase shift parameterization of these coefficients is also given. © 1969.
