摘要
The article studies the problem of language in Russian philosopher's S. Bulgakov book "The Philosophy of the name" and aims to justify the central part of language in terms of the theory of knowledge. In terms of contents, the focus of the text is put on the grammar's cognitive function, viewed in the light of the ontological status of the word as a bridge between the knowing subject and objective reality. Bulgakov develops his philosophy of grammar concept as a counter-thesis of Kant's critique of knowledge. Assuming the basic concepts of Kant's "phenomenon" and "noumenon", Bulgakov categorically distincts from the thesis of unknowable essences. In more general terms, the article identifies the specifics of the ontological approach to the philosophy of language in which the word, conceived as a joint action of the substance and the subject, the subject-object opposition characteristic of the learning process, is overcome.
