摘要：
The paper discusses language as an interface between brain, mind, memory and the world, addresses language evolution and development, and calls attention to the cross-cultural foundations of these spheres and their brain correlates. The paper also discusses the subsensory, synesthetic and irrational basis of creativity in philosophical and semiotic contexts.
