ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY DEMAGNETIZATION AND HIGH-PRESSURE PHASE TRANSITION IN SHOCK-COMPRESSED IRON

摘要
The electrical conductivity and demagnetization of iron have been measured at pressures up to 370 kbar. The experimental results provide confirmation that the high-pressure ε{lunate}-phase of iron is non- magnetic, and indicate that the transition from α-phase to ε{lunate}-phase may take place at pressures as low as 50 kbar. © 1969.
