摘要
2-[(p-Methoxyphenyl)azo]-1,3,4-thiadiazo has been found to be associated with a single protolytic equilibrium, its pK(a) value for the protonation equilibrium has been evaluated, and the structure of the protonated species has been determined. The compound hydrolyzes from the monopronated substrate by the A-S(E)2 mechanism of the SNAr type.
