摘要
Release tests showed that the sweetpotato whitefly, Bemisia tabaci (GENNADIUS) collected from poinsettia in a farmer's greenhouse caused irregular ripening of tomato fruit. The characteristic irregular ripening of tomato fruit started to appear when the average number of 3rd and 4th instar larvae exceeded ca. 80 larvae/leaf on the lower leaves of the fruit cluster.
