摘要：

In this study, it is aimed at examining the distribution of the last ten years' geography questions in the Exam for the Secondary Education Institutions to the subjects in geography course. Also, the geography subjects in Social Studies curriculum and the weights of geography questions in the Exam for the Secondary Education Institutions were compared. It was noted that there were some inconsistencies between the geography topics in the curriculum and the distribution of geography questions in the mentioned exam. For example, the weight of the geographical location subject in the exam was five times greater than its weight in the curriculum. While the weight of the subject about Turkic world and the neighbours of Turkey is 19.5% in the curriculum, no questions were asked about this subject in the Exam for the Secondary Education Institutions in the last ten years. The other findings have been explained detailly in the study.
