摘要
The problem of the orientational distribution of non-spherical aerosol particles in a general shear flow is considered here for a turbulent case. The method of investigation, which is based on an appropriate physical model, allows estimation of the orientation distribution function and its moments as affected by the various physical parameters relevant to the problem. This method is applied to the atmospheric boundary layer and to a turbulent circular jet.
