摘要
On the basis of recent experiment and theoretical works carried out to study the shape of electrified raindrops, their radiophysical and polar diagram characteristics are mathematically modelled. Both a numerical implementation and analyses are made using models for liquid drops, and considering factors determining their shape such as electric fields, surface charge, surface tension, hydrostatic pressure, dynamic pressure and sizes, as well as the angle of the drop's axis of symmetry relative to the vertical. Analytical approximations for the generators of the shapes of such drops are obtained.
