摘要：

This paper has two objectives. First, it investigates if Diego Gambetta` s distrust hypothesis about mafia in Sicily can be applied to Brazilian reality of extermination groups. Second, this paper tries to establish la theoretical approach to the investigation agenda about extermination groups in Brazil.
