摘要
The behaviour of the hydrogen electrode in anhydrous HF and in superacid media derived from HF was examinated by means of voltammetric and potentiometric measurements. It was shown that this electrode is still a pH-indicator in solution of acids, the strength of which is lower than the one of TaF5 (pKHF = 4.6 or R0(H) = -23). It was shown that the electrochemical reduction of As(V) takes place in AsF5 medium and that H+/H2 system is not reversible in solution of SbF5. Chemical reduction of AsF5 by H2 was also established. © 1979.
