摘要
During a complete "distortion session" of the HK 2012 five members of the former Collaborative Research Center " Distortion Engineering" gave an overview of the most important indings. his paper will present at first the basic mechanisms of distortion generation. hen the systematic of unavoidable dimensional and shape changes will be discussed. For the handling of avoidable distortion the concept of distortion potential and the corresponding carriers will be introduced. Based on this the methodology "Distortion Engineering" and the approaches for an extended description of the distortion behaviour of shafts, discs, and rings will be presented. he following four contributions will report about these topics: Distortion mechanisms in the process chain bearing ring [1] Distortion compensation of SAE 52100 bearing rings [2] Analysis of segregations and segregation-induced distortion using the case-hardening steel 20MnCr5 [3] Distortion formation in forged disks made of 20MnCr5 Inluence of hot-forming and material structure [4]
