摘要
Current conditions of the banking system of Ukraine are determined by the structural imbalances in the economy and its financial sector, resulting of a permanent increase in problem loans and their reserves, the lack of foreign investment, the problems with borrowed resources on the domestic market, that increases competition in the banking market and shows the need to develop and implement strategic management of the bank's competitiveness. In the article the essence and features of the cluster analysis were defined. The author suggested the methodological approaches for formation of the cluster analysis of Ukrainian banks and formed four cluster of banks, determined their specificity, for each of the clusters proposed the strategy, the implementation of which will enhance the competitiveness of banks. The novelty of our investigation in the formation of the algorithm of cluster analysis of competitiveness of modern banks in Ukraine and developing the recommendations for implementation of the strategies of management by the development processes of competitive advantages of banks in the financial market. The results of cluster analysis help to determine the competitive position of each bank, depending on the cluster to which it belongs. In addition, the performed clustering of banks helps to determine the competitiveness of each bank the more correct because it was made with three relative indicators that reflect the results of banks in different directions, and therefore, these indicators are better than absolute values. Using methodological guidelines of cluster analysis of banks' competitiveness provides the implementation of quality strategic management methods aimed to obtaining of competitive advantages in the banking market and gives the opportunity for the bank management ensure optimal proportion between supply and demand for banking services and thereby solve perspective and current tasks of rationalization of processes of providing banking services and creating conditions for strengthening the competitiveness of domestic banks in the financial market.
