摘要
Catalytic activity of newly prepared CuFe2O4@SiO2@C-3-Imid-C4SO3-PW magnetic nanoparticles is studied in the synthesis of 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthenes by the reaction of dimedone with aromatic aldehydes. The reactions occur under solvent-free conditions and the process is operative with various aromatic aldehydes, giving the corresponding products in high yields over short reaction times. In addition, the magnetic nanocatalyst could be easily recovered from the reaction mixture by a magnet and reused several times.
