摘要
The fractal behaviour of electron scattering in solids is studied with electron trajectories simulated by the Monte Carlo method. More precisely, the mass dimension as a function of the radius is presented for electron trajectories simulated in C and Au with initial energy (Eo) equal to 30 keV. Then, the multifractal behaviour of the shape of electron trajectories in solids simulated for C, Al, Cu, Ag, Au with Eo = 30 keV is presented. It is shown that the mass dimension is not related to the fractal dimension when the mass dimension is obtained from the points where electrons suffer collisions in the solid. The shape of electron trajectories in solid are described by a multifractal spectrum. The fractal dimension of electron trajectories as a function of the atomic number of the solid reaches it maximum for Z congruent to 35.
