摘要
A two dimensional process model describing the melt flow in extruder screws is presented. The investigation of two screw geometries tor technical thermoplastics (PA 6.6) shows a good agreement between calculation and experiment. Especially the variation of pitch and the use of a decompression section at the end of the feeding zone offer interesting aspects of screw optimization.
