ELASTIC-SCATTERING BY SURFACES OF POLARIZED PARTICLES - ELASTIC-SCATTERING OF 1/2 SPIN PARTICLES

This study builds up on conclusions reached in a previous article concerning the symmetries which may be found in scattering by the surface and the bulk of any specimen. It underlines the structure of possible symmetries or groups of symmetries, already studied with respect to photons, by reducing the number of hypotheses and including some corrections and additions. The present article bears essentially on the establishment of the relations resulting from these symmetries connected with the scattering coefficients of spin 1/2 particles polarized to various degrees.
