摘要
Polarized absorption, fluorescence, fluorescence excitation and photoacoustic spectra of phycobilisomes, isolated from Anabaena variabilis and Anabaena azollae and embedded in an anisotropic polymer film, were measured. The differences between polarized spectra of phycobilisomes obtained from these two organism suggest major differences in their structures influencing strongly the process of excitation energy transfer between biliproteins constituting these phycobilisomes. Presumably the symbiotic alga Anabaena azollae is different from Anabaena variabilis not only in the concentrations of various biliproteins but also their aggregation.
