摘要：

In 1990 East Germans were called upon to vote four times: in March elections were held for a new East German parliament; in May there were communal elections; followed in October by elections for the newly created federal states; and finally in December East Germans participated in the elections for an all-German parliament. This essay analyses the electoral behavior of East Germans in those elections.
