摘要
It is shown that the gas pressure in the corona provides a rather stringent boundary condition on model chromospheres and limits the thickness of those regions of the chromosphere in which the temperature is less than 10 000 K to less than or about 2000 km. © 1969 D. Reidel Publishing Company.
