摘要
Currently the number of people who have some kind of disability is very high, almost 24% of the population, to help these people to become as independent as possible is important to invest in innovations and technologies that help with daily activities for the independence a reality. Realizing the importance and usefulness of this technology is necessary an analysis of the evolution of patent documents in Brazil and in the world, checking deposits recorded on the Database of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
