ASYMPTOTICS OF ARBITRARY ORDER FOR A THIN ELASTIC CLAMPED PLATE

The asymptotics of the displacement in a thin linear elastic clamped plate made of a monoclinic material is described by the combination of a polynomial Ansatz and of a boundary layer expansion. An inductive procedure is thus performed whose justification lies in energy estimates and uniform bounds on the first neglected terms. For higher order norms, singularities along the edges of the plate must be described.
