摘要
Although regulatory T cells (Treg) represent only 5-10% of CD4 + cells, their suppressor activity in the body focused on autoreactive lymphocytes diminished inflammatory reactions during the course of autoimmune diseases. Presently, numerous studies indicate that Treg cells may be the target or therapeutic tool of intervention in autoimmune diseases. The article presents current information regarding function of Treg and their participation in multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis in man and in corresponding animal models of the diseases.
