摘要
The reaction of Np(VI) and HNO2 in TBP solution is reversible. The equilibrium shifts towards Np(V) as [HClO4] decreases. The rate of Np(VI) reduction obeys the equation -d[Np(VI)]/dt = k[Np(VI)][HNO2]/[HClO4]. The rate constant k = (9.12 +/- 0.90).10 min-1 at 20-degrees-C The activation energy E = 34.2 +/- 1.0 kJ/mole. The rate is independent of [H2O] and [TBP] in a benzene mixture. The reaction mechanism includes a slow electron-transfer step between solvated Np(VI) perchlorate and NO2-.
