摘要
Chemical and physical degradation of Amberlite IRC 50, Amberlite 200 and Wofatit CA 20 was studied. It has been found that these cation exchangers are sufficiently resistant so as to be employed in the ion-exchange method for the treatment of condensation waters discharged from the ammonium nitrate manufacturing line. Studies were also carried out for wastewater treatment in a two-column ion-exchange system. One of the columns was filled with a weakly acidic ion exchanger, and the other one was packed with a strongly acidic ion exchanger. Based on the parameters established, a preliminary design was made for an industrial ion-exchange system, and the materials balance was performed. © 1979.
