摘要：

The striated muscle fibers of the heart and of the diaphragm were more severely affected by plasmocid poisoning than were those of the quadriceps. In the three types of muscles, alterations occurred in the mitochondria or myofilaments, but there were significantly quantitative differences. It is concluded that the muscles with the most highly metabolic activity are most susceptible to the toxic effects of the drug. © 1969, Japan Mendel Society, International Society of Cytology.
