摘要
The effect of rain-cell top heights (which can be roughly estimated from the ground temperature) on the attenuation of a millimetre wave is presented using a newly defined concept, the ‘mean effective path length’, with relation to the ground rain rate. This suggests the possibility of estimating attenuation statistics in each season. © 1979, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
