Moulds and machine parts for use in plastics processing must be cleaned at more or less great intervals. While giving a good cleaning effect, a cleaning method should have a minimum impact on the working area and the environment. The cleaning of moulds contaminated with plastics is represented and compared with other cleaning methods under these aspects.
