摘要
The reduction of sheet thickness in automobile construction requires the use of high-strength steel grades. Their inadequate forming properties make it necessary to alter, however, the chemical composition of the steel and to modify the processing technology. Positive results at small titanium additions, low coiling temperatures in hot rolling as well as compliance with defined annealing conditions in recrystallization annealing. Reduced planar anisotropy and increased strain-hardening exponent ensure improved deep-drawing and stretch formability. Texture investigations and pressed part manufacture are consistent with the results of materials testing.
