CHARACTERISTICS OF INTRAANNUAL VARIATIONS OF N2O AND CH4 IN THE MIDDLE ATMOSPHERE

摘要
Intra-annual variations of the N2O and CH4 mixing ratios from the SAMS instrument on the Nimbus-7 satellite are analyzed using special amplitude and phase characteristics. Differences of the N2O and CH4 evolution in the annual cycle are noted. Essential interhemispheric differences are noted in the species intra-annual evolution. Asymmetry of the annual cycle is characterized by an interval of increase and an interval when the H2O and CH4 mixing ratios exceed the local annual mean values.
