摘要：
Batch and continuous fluidised bed drying of granular cellular materials has been experimentally investigated at different temperatures and flow rates of the heating medium, particle size and mass of solids. A receding core model is proposed for the drying kinetics and compared with the experimental data. Assuming ideal mixing for the solids, the performance of the continuous fluidised bed dryer is predicted using the drying kinetics evaluated from the batch fluidised bed.
