摘要
The intensifying effect of sized materials (50-30, 60-40, and over-60 mm coke and 50-15 and over-50 mm sinter) on the operation of a 2000 m**3 blast furnace has been investigated. The charging of materials in separate size fractions intensifies blast-furnace operation on ordinary blast, raises plant productivity, lowers coke rate, and is accompanied by the production of better-quality pig iron.
