摘要：
The article analyzes the influence Stalin's regime had on he historic research development in the 1930s Urals, with the authorities starting to control science. The period faced a halt in scientific discussions, scientific institutions reorganization, drastic personnel reshuffle, limitations of research fields, universal methodology implementation, party censorship, and organizational structure. The author describes the previously unstudied periods of persecution of historians during the period in question.
