摘要
The scaled particle theory of nonadditive hard disks or spheres of Tenne and Bergman, studied numerically by us in two previous papers, has been modified by relaxing the requirement that the particle radius scaling respect the nonadditivity out to arbitrarily large radii. The resulting theory is much simpler to implement numerically, while the results are comparable to those of the previous theory. A comparison is made between the predictions of phase separation of the present theory and those of numerical simulations. © 1990 American Institute of Physics.
