Drawings of seizures: differences between artists with and without epilepsy

In a comparison between drawings of seizures by artists with and without epilepsy, it is hypothesized that artists with epilepsy express their seizure experience, their feelings and emotions, in contrast to artists without epilepsy who want to convey a message that goes beyond the individual seizure. Images of three seizure events (aura, focal seizures and postictal phase) are juxtaposed. The comparison is limited because only of few artists it is known whether they have seizures or not. Readers are invited to discuss this hypothesis.
