摘要
Results are presented from an experimental study of the motion of anisometric quartz particles in distilled water under the influence of a uniform variable electric field. It is found that velocity increases in proportion to the square of the amplitude of field strength and decreases with an increase in frequency. A relationship between these parameters is found for the condition of constant particle velocity.
