X-RAY STANDING-WAVE DETERMINATION OF THE LATTICE LOCATION OF ER DIFFUSED INTO LINBO3

摘要
The location of Er ions diffused into LiNbO3 crystals is determined employing X-ray standing waves. At surface concentrations of 3.6 X 10(19) cm-3 Er is found to occupy Li sites but is shifted from the ferroelectric Li position by 0.46 angstrom in the direction of the -c axis.
