摘要
For several years, the European Union attempted to frame its relations with South America through bloc-to-bloc association projects. In 2007, the EU surreptitiously changed its objective and signed a strategic association agreement with Brazil. This article analyses the consequences of the agreement, as well as the corresponding changes in Brazil's external policy, for the future of interregionalism.
