摘要：

Using the small amplitude approximation, some steady state nonsinusoidal solutions for an obliquely traveling electrostatic wave in a collisionless magnetoplasma, have been given by Chaturvedi [Phys. Fluids 19, 1064 (1976)]. The present note makes a more rigorous study. © 1979 American Institute of Physics.
