摘要
Several schemes of aerogel Cherenkov counters for e+e--experiments in the UPSILON-region are discussed. The results of measurements on the prototype counter with diffusive light collection on the R2490-01 phototube are reported. According to the calculations, the use of wavelength shifting light guides for the light collection allows one to reduce the required number of photomultipliers by a factor 5-10 in comparison with direct light collection on the phototubes.
