摘要
Previous attempts to introduce a methodology for computer system design are reviewed, their limitations noted and several approaches towards overcoming the problem of level communication are discussed. The design methodology suggested by N. H. Weiderman is compared with recently proposed methods which allow the system design itself to be the simulation model.
