摘要
Reversing valves affect the performance of a heat pump due to three effects: heat transfer, pressure drop and mass leakage. This paper describes the development of mathematical models based on the steady-state performance of a heat pump. These models can be used to estimate the expected changes in performance due to the presence of a reversing valve. An example is presented showing the effects observed in both heating and cooling modes.
