摘要
This paper analyzes the relationship between war, desire and human nature. For Hobbes, the close relationship between these elements makes the state a need for peace and coexistence. It is therefore essential to give up a part of the natural law to gain access to a secure and prosperous life. The existence of a strong state is the precondition for violence disappears from society.
