摘要
A new ultrasonic cell was developed for measuring the ultrasonic velocity and attenuation of a sample while observing the condition of the sample from outside the cell. This cell was used in the measurement and observation of Salol in the range between the room temperature and 80-degrees-C, including the melting temperature. Elastic and anelastic data near the melting point are reported and some of the obtained results are discussed.
