摘要
An analysis of the three-dimensional flow of an incompressible viscous fluid past an infinite, vertical porous plate is presented under the following conditions: (i) the fluid is electrically conducting, (ii) the free stream velocity is uniform, (iii) the plate is subjected to a slightly sinusoidal transverse suction velocity distribution, (iv) the plate temperature is constant, (v) a magnetic field of univorm strength is applied in the direction normal to the plate. Approximate solutions for the velocity components, the temperature, the skin-friction and the rate of heat transfer are obtained and discussed for different values of M (Hartmann number), lambda-(the suction parameter), Pr (Prandtl number) and G (Grashof number).
