摘要：

Our intention in this paper is to analyze what has been the demographic trends and major urban changes experienced by the municipality of Santa Comba (La Coruna), verifying statistically the process of population concentration and the transition from a rural society to one increasingly urban. Although it poses as a local study, the methodology and some of the conclusions drawn from it can be extrapolated total and / or partially to other municipalities.
