摘要
In this study, a new biochar carbon material serving as electrode materials was prepared from Pine branches via the activation by the KOH agent. The structure and electrochemical properties of as-prepared carbon material were demonstrated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and galvanostatic charge/discharge cycling. The obtained results showed that the PBC activated by KOH exhibited a specific capacitance of 62.57 F/g at a current density of 1 A/g in 2 M KOH, and even after 10000 cycles, PCB specific capacitance was still as high as 59.07 F/g. Furthermore, PBC also delivered specific capacitance of 55.4 F/g at current density of 5 A/g and 34.29 F/g at current density of 20 A/g.
