摘要
The Mössbauer effect has been observed with the 12.29-keV transition in 7.2-yr Ba133. The absorber contained 0.75 mCi (2 μg) of the isotope. The source was 39-h Ba133m, The absorber was a thin disk, 1.2 mm in diam. The source diameter was 1 mm and the mean separation 0.5 mm. A linewidth about three times natural was found with observed dips of 0.95% at 4.2°K and 0.34% at room temperature. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
