COORDINATION-COMPOUNDS AS PRECURSORS FOR MANGANESE-COBALT FERRITES

摘要
The present PaPer deals with the study of the polynuclear coordination compounds obtained by the ''hydrolysis method'' - as precursors for Mn-Co ferrites. The polynuclear compounds have the general formula : Fex(II)Fey(III)(Mn0.5Co0.5)(C2O4)x+y (OH)y+2 . nH2O where, x and y can be 0.2 less-than-or-equal-to x less-than-or-equal-to 1.0 and 1.8 greater-than-or-equal-to y greater-than-or-equal-to 1. All these polynuclear compounds together with Mn-Co ferrites were characterized by electronic and IR spectra, magnetic measurements, thermal analysis.
